After the race in Spain, pretty much everyone had negative assessments on tyres, including Alonso. I dont get this Red Bull conspiracy.

@tmax – What you describe would be the best case scenario given that the tire change has been decided. If all of the teams benefit fairly equally, so be it. But I would counter with, when have you ever seen a rule […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, 2013 Spanish Grand Prix result 1 week, 5 days ago
@tmax it really is turning into a tortoise versus the hair contest: that’s not how it should be. When the fastest cars on outright pace (the Mercedes and the Red Bull) perform that badly in the race it’s gone too […]

@tmax that was another message that caught my attention: drivers shouldn’t be complaining about not being able to go slow enough!

Eric commented on the post, Alonso splits Red Bulls in close session 1 week, 6 days ago
I’ve seen nothing to suggest Webber is working in favor of Alonso now. In Bahrein he could have let Alonso through if he wanted too. He could have made it look like his tyres were absolutely finished. He […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Kubica only looking for F1 return 2 weeks, 5 days ago
@tmax formula e is doing just that with full electric, and I’d expect F1 will follow its lead once the “engines” are fast enough.
I’d personally like to see F1 use hydrogen, as that could work with an internal […]

MagillaGorilla commented on the post, Kubica only looking for F1 return 2 weeks, 6 days ago
@tmax VW owns Lambo, and Lambo doesn’t really need racing to sell cars since they aren’t know for racing cars rather just super fast and stylish road hyper cars. Toyota is happy with Le Mans and will probably give […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Why do F1 cars keep running out of fuel? 3 weeks, 3 days ago
@tmax yea I’m in agreance with the second part: even though races were usually longer, with more demanding tracks and trickier cars to drive the forces going through the body were nowhere near what they are today: […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Why do F1 cars keep running out of fuel? 3 weeks, 3 days ago
@tmax – I assume you mean in terms of any, not just ones currently racing? There’s an article on that here: Paul Pietsch sadly passed away on the 31st of May 2012 but he had celebrated his 100th birthday in that […]

Bernie has already said Red Bull and Mercedes shouldn’t have imposed team orders.
And I agree with him. -

@tmax I believe one of the most controversial and commented topics was the BBC/SKY saga in 2011!

Journeyer commented on the post, Vettel apologises to Webber for ‘win I’m not proud of’ 2 months ago
@tmax If they take themselves out against a different team’s car, they only lose the one car. But if the two teammates take each other out, that’s double the pain and double the loss.
Remember, as a […]

I also hate the new Podium interview format where the drivers are in their full adrenalin rush and they just speak out. Last year it was about some of the words Kimi and Vettel used in the heat of the […]

Yeah that makes much more sense ! Thanks for the update @tmax.
I do agree with you, Rosberg looked great in the wet last weekend and Button ended a wet Q2 in P4, but I think that Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, 2013 Australian Grand Prix championship points 2 months, 1 week ago
@tmax – very true; Australia has never been the most representative for where everyone is performance wise and I think it’s purely coincidental that 6 of the last 8 winners (discounting 2013) have gone on to win […]

@tmax Considering that Keith’s headline only really relates to the sensationalist claims made by other motor sport media, that’s not really a fair point.
I’ve always found Keith’s blog to be the last media outlet […] -
