Antonio Nartea replied to the forum topic New Porsche LMP1 breaks cover in the group
Endurance Racing 6 days, 22 hours agoIt certainly looks better than that LMP2 RS Spyder from a couple of years back. And the current LMP1 Toyota.
Of course, the biggest question is what colour they’ll paint it…
If I don’t see at least one car in […]

Endurance Racing 1 week agoAnd of course, they couldn’t use the current Pirelli tyres in an endurance race…
Imagine a stint on Pirellis round Le Mans. Pit exit – Dunlop Curve, Esses, Tertre Rouge and they’re gone. And Hunaudieres and […]

IndyCar 1 week, 1 day agoCleveland was always wild and so different from anything else on the calendar
@bluestar77 And I thought I was the only one who actually liked that race back in the Champ Car era. Anyway, YES, bring back the […]

IndyCar 1 week, 1 day agoTexas has a seating capacity of over 150,000…it’s tough to make any oval look well attended with that many seats to fill.
Fair point. Didn’t look at it from that point of view at first. […]

Antonio Nartea commented on the post, Vote for your Canadian GP driver of the weekend 1 week, 1 day ago
It can’t be anyone other than Vettel in my opinion. For the first time this season we’ve seen Seb drive to the absolute limit 100% of the race (hence the brush with the wall and his run-off in T1). Sure, the RB09 […]

Antonio Nartea replied to the forum topic Unluckiest driver pairings? in the group
F1 1 week, 2 days agoM. Schumacher – Rosberg and R. Schumacher – Montoya are probably two of the best examples.
I can also think of:
Villeneuve – Zonta (99-00) – had a lot of promise considering the massive hype around […] -

IndyCar 1 week, 2 days ago@keithcollantine – Don’t get me wrong, Keith. I personally enjoy oval-racing a lot and, apart from that, it’s part of the IRL legacy. I wouldn’t want that to go away.
My comment was strictly from a […]

@npf1 – Frankly, this might just turn out to be a much bigger hit for Sauber than anticipated.
They already have financial difficulties even with Slim pumping money into the team, the negotiations with the so […]

My problem is with the way the FIA are justifying these penalties again. Van Der Garde deserved the penalty but for ignoring multiple blue flags…again. Not for the actual […]

Antonio Nartea commented on the post, Van der Garde penalised for Hulkenberg clash 1 week, 2 days ago
Call me crazy but wasn’t Hulkenberg the one who slightly turned left into Van Der Garde’s wing?
Sure, VDG was being lapped at the time and he might have responded too slow to the blue flags, just as Sutil, but […] -
Antonio Nartea commented on the post, Sutil’s criticises ‘inconsistent FIA’ after penalty 1 week, 2 days ago
Backmarkers were awful today.
There were 17 of them. What did you expect? Some of them were bound to mess up.
However, you’re right (and so is Sutil for that matter). The penalties were applied inconsistently […] -

Paul’s 8th is really good
That’s what popped up in the standings for me as well. Whining and complaining aside, 2013 might actually be Di Resta’s best shot at finally beating his team mate. And by driving well-enough too!

How did Bottas manage to pull off that performance? It’s not like that Williams became third place material overnight. Is it a 2012-derived spec they are running, a new FW35 spec, did they manage to completely […]
