Vettel is pretty arrogant, he does think mighty of himself. It is evident in how he calls other drivers names.

That maybe the case, but it does not mean he cannot give proper feedback. He is fast and his feedback has helped Mercedes develop a strong car and it is also something that McLaren are missing till now this season.
