Going to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone 10 months, 3 weeks agoDoes anyone know how busy the roads might be coming from the north into Silverstone on Friday morning? I don’t want to get stuck in traffic jams and miss one second of the practice sessions!!

If we arrive v. early, coffee would be good!!!! Presumably there are plenty of facilities, without horrendous queues?

Sorry Wendy can’t really help with that. Haven’t driven in on a race weekend for years. We always arrive Wed /Thur and camp all weekend. The crowd on Friday is pretty big and getting bigger year on year but my guess would be that a lot of those would be campers, so maybe the roads won’t be so bad?

Getting food and drink is not an issue, thee is always somewhere within a minute or two’s walk.
