Younger Hamii commented on the post, Ferrari join Lotus in criticising tyre revisions 2 days, 11 hours ago
Horse Whisperer said it all, I mean, honestly – I don’t even know who to side with on the tyre debate, perhaps I don’t want to take sides at all.
When thinking about the tyres and the effect they have on the […]

Younger Hamii commented on the post, Rosberg on pole as again Mercedes claim front row 1 week, 1 day ago
An excessive amount of blocking from drivers, can’t imagine quali in Monaco in a fortnight.
Will be bewildered if Gutierrez gets a reprimand maximum: considerable gap to thr car in front of him so see little […]

Well the 2013 chassis are obviously evolutions of the 2012, this season is seemingly an exception as we’re heading towards th biggest technical regulations in the history of the sport, irrespective of how early […]

Younger Hamii commented on the post, Alonso splits Red Bulls in close session 1 week, 2 days ago
@karter22 You have the assumption that Vettel will start on pole (let’s wait till end of FP3to be scrupulous), who gets away from pole just as well to a degree.

Younger Hamii commented on the post, Alonso splits Red Bulls in close session 1 week, 2 days ago
Perhaps he does ‘underperform’: when he has a race-winning gap of about 6+ seconds by the half race distance.
But then again Vettel is one that’s fond of statistics and that would mean…

F1 4 weeks agoAlonso in Silverstone 2010 is another good one…
‘Ok I don’t want any more rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrradio for the race please’
Andre Stella: ‘No problem mate, no problem.’
And there’s Hamilton in […]

Younger Hamii commented on the post, Vettel takes second Bahrain win on disastrous day for Ferrari 4 weeks ago
@mike-dee Two questions in relation to that comment: one for the FIA for not giving Alonso the black and orange flag for a mechanical problem and the other for Ferrari for allowing Alonso to lose so much time with […]

Exactly what I thought and I thought again ‘Yeah, I don’t think it’s going to close again’ *doesn’t close and loses an odd 18-20 seconds boxing again. Alonso probably assumed that his DRS failure was a one-off.

Was thinking likewise earlier on and I agree, even though I wasn’t around watching the sport at the time.

@Hatebreeder First time since Brazil last year.

Younger Hamii commented on the post, First front row start since his comeback makes Raikkonen a strong contender for victory 1 month ago
@matt90 Too early to label Chilton as ‘useless’ although I’ve always thought that another season in GP2 would’ve been the better option for the sake of learning skills such as perfecting car setup. Thinking with […]

Hamilton was not fastest of all in any of the three sectors. But he did produce his three quickest times on his pole position lap.
Nice to see some consistency from Lewis rather than being outright fastest – […]

@tommyb89 Too early to exaggerate and say that McLaren have been making ‘loads of mistakes’, it’s only been two races and bar the loose front-right and the sub-par car, which mainly stemmed from a decision to […]

Just wanted to point out with intrigue that there weren’t any crashes or any incidents from any driver today (correct If i’m wrong. Everyone was clean today and Melbourne is a circuit where drama can be pretty […]

It’s understandable to look with suspicion, I myself am, these KERS issues are way too frequent to be a coincidence although Vettel does get them occasionally. As for Mark’s starts, again frequency points to me […]

Younger Hamii commented on the post, McLaren will “look at anything” but see no quick fix 2 months ago
I’m not laughing…
Though unlikely to happen, I wonder if they can switch to the MP4-27 for a few races (maybe until Spain), by Spain they probably will come to an end to the development curve with that […]

7 for me – very intriguing in regards to the battle for the win, aided by the flexibility in strategies. Not much on-track/wheel-to-wheel action bar the few overtakes. At least Red Bull didn’t run and hide, so on […]

@BasCB Hopefully they don’t do to Razia what Caterham did to Trulli before the start of last season: be contracted for the upcoming season yet have that contract suddenly broken and replaced by Petrov due to – you […]

Plus Nicholas Todt is Jean Todt’s son as well as Massa’s manager I believe.
So in terms of reliability I’d say – pretty high!

The behaviour of the car being inconsistent was an issue akin to the Ferrari last year and the F2012 was revolutionary too…
Will not jump to any conclusions but just to note, surely a car’s setup is centred […]
