Suzuka was grey and murky yesterday, but today two sessions were held in bright sunshine, showing off the track at its best. Here’s a collection of pictures from qualifying earlier today.
Five drivers have been been moved down the grid for the Japanese Grand Prix. They are Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello, Adrian Sutil, Sebastien Buemi and Fernando Alonso. However because of the large number of drivers that got penalties, some of them will not lose a full five places. See the Japanese Grand Prix grid.
Qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka was red-flagged three times for three different accidents. Jaime Alguersuari put his Toro Rosso in the barriers at Degner eight minutes into Q2.
