Posted onFabrizio Giovanardi moved into the lead of the championship by finishing second behind Gordon Shedden. Shedden took his first win of 2007 and the second for Team Halfords’ new Honda Civic. Colin Turkington was third after starting on pole. Former championship leader Jason Plato could only manage seventh while carrying maximum ballast on his Seat.
