A BMW X5 owned by Nelson Piquet Jnr is up for sale on Auto Trader.
The silver 2003 model comes with air conditioning, black leather interior and tinted.
According to the advert there is an “F1 fire extinguisher under the drivers’ seat”. The X5 is priced at £11,500.
Piquet probably bought the car new when he moved to Britain from Brazil in 2003. He has won the South American Formula 3 championship the previous year, and moved into the British series where he won six times, earning a test with the Williams F3 team.
As he drives for Renault now he’s more likely to be seen in one of their cars. Team mate Fernando Alonso also had a taste for German cars in the past – while at McLaren he received a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722.
