  1. I’d like an f1 fanatic mug. My Dad would love one for his Birthday or Christmas. He likes tea.

    1. I thought mug too

      1. Mugs good. How about a car window sticker?

    2. Bumper sticker yes, Mug definitely yes. T-shirt less sure about!

    3. Definitely. I’d buy a mug and bumper sticker.

      1. You always sleep in t-shirts and wear them round the house.

I always tend to loose my mugs, as I take them to work (or get them delivered there), then someone else hijacks its everyday until I’m afraid to touch it again, like I’ve lost some sort of paternal case by default.

  2. Cool. Any other colours coming soon?

  3. Shame it only goes up to extra large size, think of your bat fastard readers Keith!!!!

    1. Ha ha ha ha ha. Yeah Keith, not all of us are built like F1 drivers. My ten year old daughter is bigger than those toothpicks!!

      1. ……leg warmers?

  4. Your timing is perfect, I’m about to get some money for the first time in ages so this could be my first impulse buy!

  5. Maybe not something you can sell but how about f1fanatic wallpapers.

    1. Isn’t that the type of thing one of us fanatics could do?

    2. For your sitting room?

Can I have a free one anyway? :D haha

  7. Nice one Keith, I’ll ‘av’ one of them! Not only great articles but clothing too…….

    1. and indeed, great articles of clothing too :)

  8. I already got my Ferrari/Alonso tshirt :D

    1. I still keep seeing Mclaren / Alonso ones on sale whenever I go to car shows or BTCC… doh!

      1. who is going to buy those in the uk? even here in spain, they had to give them at 50% off. I got one, for 20 euro. The quality is good. But hamilton’s is the one to have.

  9. When I have some spare money to spend, first I have to buy a Hasselhoff t-shirt, then this one. If you sold a “Don’t Hassel the F1Fanatic” tee, that would be perfect. :D

  10. This is capitalism :D

  11. F1fanatic.com you say?
Been there, done that, and soon to have worn the tshirt! :D

Don’t want to burst your bubble but it’s .co.uk not .com

      1. I love F1Fanatics…
In my real life it’s just “F*** ***”,
        but here, it’s,
“Haha! Got you!, You sir, said fanatic.com, when in reality, it’s fanatic.co.uk! Ha!” *Maniacal laughter*

I guess Jarred must be head of the pedantic organisation…

Sorry, I meant the pedantic club.

  12. I think it’s a good idea.
Personally, I’d like to see one with a lot more going on. Some people like minimalist t-shirts, some people like v busy and more shouty.
Not sure how complicated the design can be but a competition to design a F1 fanatic t-shirt might be something to consider.

  13. Looks like you are not doing a t-shirt for us ladies, hadn’t you noticed we are a different shape to you guys!!………Shame on you.

    1. OOOOOOps, there i go engaging mouth before brain again !!!!

  14. How much is it in USD? Also what do they charge for shipping to the States?

    1. They charge £6 for “Rest of the world”, that is outside of the UK (£2,5 or 0 for orders over £30) and Europe (£4,5 for European delivery).

Exchange rate is currently about 1,5 USD to 1 GBP.

    2. “How much is it in USD?”

      LOL, …

  15. Great idea.. probably won’t see to many of these in the USA!

  16. Just noticed unlap is the site where I saw the ‘Flying Webber’ t-shirt. There is a few funny Red Bull ones on there too.

    1. Yeah it’s a great little site. It has a jokey Alonso moaning one, a Massa ‘for sure’ design and Kimi munching on an ice cream.

    2. http://www.unlap.co.uk/24-the-flying-webber-red-bull-f1-icons-t-shirt.html

That website has some decent designs, I like the Alonso moan, moan, moan moan one too!

  17. keith, it’s been a long time in the wind tunnel!!!!
will be purchasing shortly…..what about an f1fanatic cap a real smart one!!!

on another note and in the wrong thread.. has anyone read the new f1 magazine, i have not bothered for a good 12/18 months but it has a new layout and seems a better read with more decent articles. it has gone away from it smash hits/teeny bop layout from more recent times.

    1. F1 Racing Mag.
Yeah I got it, but I prefer the glossy cover to the new rough one, it’s a tiny bit larger than the old A4 size one. More competitions too.

      1. I like the new style inside personally. I liked the smooth and shiny front cover though as it now just feels like one of those magazines you get free with the papers on a Sunday.

I was thinking of subscribing….. when they firewall this site (and others) at work it’s only books and magazines that I get to read!

the roughly $100 price seems a little high though….. the most expensive magazines over here don’t top $50……

          1. Why do they firewall this site? Nothing rude here…

          2. Except the health of Adrian Newey’s problem solving abilities..

It’s kinda strange that this site…. or CNN.com will be firewalled sometimes….. while the guy in the desk next to me is watching basketball games and looking at bikini clad models.

            makes no sense :(

          4. Hmm… Doesn’t sound like there’s much I can do about that!

  18. I’ll have to get an order together. Would be nice to have light grey as well.

Maybe Caps would be nice to, or better even a hat for sitting in the sun and watching F1 in general admission!

  19. Good idea – not a fan of the logo tho…sorry!

However, was just thinking – what is the copyright situation with bernie over the use of ‘F1’ in the logo?

Just don’t want you or this site in any trouble Keith!

    I second the competition idea…

    1. “not a fan of the logo tho…sorry!”

actually i must agree with that., also sorry to say.

  20. and can we get the T Shirts with our usernames printed on them too ? In case we bump into other Fanatics Keith?

Same with Mugs, Pens, Coasters, Bumber stickers etc…

As of this week the runner-up in each round of the F1 Fanatic Predictions Championship will win an Official F1 Fanatic T-shirt plus a race winner’s T-shirt from Unlap.

So, no more race winner prints then?

    (just curiosity… I’d rather win a F1F t-shirt then a print from any of the top 4 drivers =P)

    1. Yes, that’s right.

      1. 17.50 pounds…quite expensive for a dutch F1fanatic. i’d be proud to wear one but not for that price.

  22. I’ll order one when my Hardrock Cafe t-shirt wears out….I’d buy a mousepad or coffee mug though! :)

  23. Great to see the F1Fanatic t-shirt finally materialise! I would strongly recomend you to make also a black t-shirt. I hate white tees and it seems a lot of teams always make white ones! For me it was specially complicated last season as a BrawnGP fan!!! Black shirts are way cooler…

  24. Not sure about t-shirt but I think stubby holders would be a good idea.!

  25. Tried to buy a T shirt online and system declined purchase from Canada as I needed to enter a valid State….we have Provinces in my part of Canada eh!
Have taken up the issue with the site’s webmaster. I will keep you posted.

  26. Tried to buy 3 T shirts but error message indicated I needed to fill in valid State…we have Provinces in my part of Canada…..! I have logged error with the Webmaster…watch this space eh!

    1. Texas Tony: Thanks for the comment. I got your e-mail this morning and enabled shipping to provinces in Canada :) E-mail me if you need anything else.

I think mugs are a great idea, I want one!

  28. Love the Tshirt , hope u have some more accessories on the way … is there any option for people in India !!! the time n cost fer delivery r killer !

  29. how about a wall chart for the 2011 season?
like the ones they make for the world cup with all the fixtures that you can fill in as the season progresses?

it would be a nice way of keeping track of the season…

  30. Great news.It won’t be up for sale in Bangladesh but I hope in the near future I will get one.

  31. An F1 Fanatic Lanyard to display at races perhaps?

  32. A black t shirt too perhaps?

  33. Buy these now as soon as possible. As soon Bernie finds a piece of merchandise with ‘F1’ that he’s not getting a slice of… ;)

  34. come on its obvious, i cant believe no one thought of it: An f1 fanatic anorak !

    F1Fanatic banana hammock.

In all seriousness, does the logo scale at all with shirt size or is it generally pretty tiny overall? I am pretty curious about the usage of F1 as well since the defunct USGPE couldn’t be USF1.

Any way we could get some cool posters or something?

  37. 15 quid for a white t-shirt with a few words on it! lol, dont think so.

  38. How about F1 Fanatic cheese?

  39. Talk about a dull shirt, definitely needs a flash or color or something. Here in the U.S., paying that sort of price for a T-shirt would be referred to as a “hose job”, usually administered by NASCAR and is also accompanied by the additional “S & H” charge. They’d like you to think that stands for “Shipping & Handling” but it really stands for “Shafting & Hosing”. Another variation is the “S” replaced by a “P”, supposedly for “Postage” but translates to “Porking & Hosing”.
    Great web-site, lame shirt.

    1. Of course, American’s are renowned for their style…..

  40. i don’t know if they are accurate, but from the pictures it seems the logos could be a bit larger. just my opinion. and yeah, a coffee mug is desperately needed :)

  41. Hey Keith, love the shirt.

Too bad it doesn’t do shipments to Malaysia!

  42. Come on guys, this is about giving a hand to Keith!!!

Have you forgot Keith is full time dedicated this year to this blog?

    “I would like a tea mug, a black t-shirt….”

Just get into unlap.co.uk and buy just one T-shirt now, not when your new fashion T-shirt become old… or you become old!

T shirt was a good Idea Keith!

Hope that some of the $$$ goes to you and the site.

21 pounds is only like $8 US right???? :)

    1. I think you’ll find it’s more like 42 dollars bud.
It’s very expensive to live in the UK.

        Haha I know…. hence the ” :) “.

The pound has been strong against the USD for quite some time.

I guess the standard of living is better in the UK?

        1. No idea bud anymore, been living in the states for 3 years now. So the standard of living could be in the crapper by now.
But at least they haven’t got Obama.

  44. Thanks for all the ideas guys. Points taken on offering a lower price, some different products (mugs seem quite popular and I’d quite like one myself) and some more interesting designs…

    1. A Tie Keith, for the gentleman of sartorial elegance.

  45. I would buy one but my carting days are over and i am looking for a 3X (3xXL) shirt… i grew in height (and width)

  46. Mug and car sticker sounds good to me

  47. got my t shirt today and it occurred to me of one improvement that may or may not be popular, and that is to have your blogname printed on the back. obviously if its “cheesebutt” you may opt out but the choice would be great.

    1. Thanks for buying one antonyob!

scunnyman suggested that too, I must have a chat to Luke about it.

  48. Awesome that you now have t-shirts. I will definitely order one for Xmas

  49. Just bought the t-shirt Keith. Looks deadly. Any more stuff in the pipeline. Bumper stickers, or maybe a bobblehead Keith maybe!! :P

    1. Glad to hear it! Anyone worn one at a race yet? Would love to see a picture of that. Remember you can upload via the drop.io:

      http://drop.io/f1fanatic

  50. I ordered one of the t-shirts to help support this site. I firstly received an email to say it was on back-order despite the site stating ‘in stock’. I asked about this and was told it was in stock and would be despatched the following day. I was promised this three times over the course of a week, but nothing was ever despatched. Eventually cancelled my order. :(

  51. @keithcollantine Any 2011 mugs available? Unlap links seem to be down this year and I’ve got to give the wife a Christmas list at some point :)
