That’s probably not an option for this race… I like a morning race, though. I can watch the Grand Prix and still have a family event later in the day.

I don’t know. The Queen Margaret Union in Glasgow has a 3am license, so it’s not a million miles away!

Oh this weekend is going to be painful. I’m out both Friday and Saturday night. I think I may set-up the laptop with the TV in preparation for feeling sorry for myself in bed, no doubt nursing a hangover.

Oh yes, waking up at 4am for F1, my favourite hobby. It’s a shame that the race is so “late” now (9am here), I’d prefer it to start a few hours earlier.

Since we’re on UK time on this page, what time does the Bathurst 1000 start? Does it clash with the Grand Prix?

@bullfrog It’s either a 00:30 or 01:30 start for the race (I’ve always been terrible with figuring out time differences…), and the race lasts about 6 and a half hours so the end of Bathurst and the start of the F1 will probably overlap.

Thanks Mark, I’ll look out for the start, but the rest of the race might clash with sleeping.

@bullfrog @mark-hitchcock If you’re watching Bathurst live, you can switch channels pretty much as soon as they cross the line and you’ll find F1 lining up on the grid.

If the 1000 goes without any major delays it should end shortly before the lights go out on the F1 race, however I know last year it ran a little long & ended a couple of laps into the F1 race.
