The Brabham BT54 scored a single win in the 1985 season in the hands of Nelson Piquet at Paul Ricard.
When the team struggled with its successor the following year the BT54 was brought back for a single round at Brands Hatch.

Piquet won at Paul Ricard, but given the amount of pre-season testing the team did there its surprising that he wasn’t all that competitive at Kyalami, especially given the French teams didn’t show. But, by them of course Honda finally got their act together and even the McLaren TAG’s were struggling to hold them.
