Given the very thin grids they’ve had at recent events it’s not a great shock to see this – Auto GP has halted its season ahead of what should have been its fifth and sixth races of 2015 at Paul Ricard this weekend:

So much for the season-opener being cancelled due to ‘political reasons’

They need to give the back half-third of FIA F3 a call! Those drivers should really still be in national F3. Spanish F3/Euroformula Open has done well to survive as the sole ‘entry level F3’, but now for GP3 – Stuvik, Janosz and Palou.

The link with FA1 could’ve worked, but the money probably ran out pre-season. I wonder if Regalia and Sa Silva will join WSR – there is still space for another team!

PS. I wonder if the A1GP/Lola B05/52 will finally be retired after 10 years. The last Lola racing cars still active?
