Okay, so the title of this thread sounds like the opening of a joke. And, to be totally honest, I’m not convinced that this isn’t a joke (in which case, the punchline is “And a high school teacher believes it all!”). But when I checked a local website this morning, I came up on Prisoner Monkeys

Hmmm, I see they’ve updated the story since I posted it – Del Piero won’t actually race, but will instead run the team.

That’s a shame, it would have been so cool to see if Del Piero would have been any good. However he is pretty old for a sportsman, so perhaps playing football and racing at the same time isn’t the best thing for him.
