F1 Fanatic - F1 Games
Well, that’s certainly a pleasant surprise ^_^
Great stuff there from Sikes! I doubt he’ll be able to stay there for too long (will probably get a bit swamped off the line), but hopefully the strategy holds out, maybe we could snag another top five finish if we’re fortunate.
Enjoyed that race, not the most exciting this season but for sure still very enjoyable. Have to say the commentary standard really adds to the spectacle, the jokes & occasional random rambling fills in the gaps in races incredibly well, good job as ever guys :)
I’ll try to get the questions to everyone tonight, not had much preparation this week with only just getting home so please bare with! :)
Great for FV to be back. FIRST looked decent, it was a shame for Hutchinson to have his problem. I think we are pretty stable with our 5th place in the constructors’. It will be hard for us to pass Westwood or Franklin and it will be difficult for Holmqvist or North Star to pass us.
I actually thought that the race was exciting for the majority of it, the strategy in the race was what made it exciting. The introduction of tire compound selections has proven to be a very good decision for the series.
Not the greatest race of the year but it did pick up in the second half I thought. Great drive from Powers with a much needed 10 point gain over Snelheid. Ruiz with a solid job in second place to continue Franklins good form at that circuit. However I am pretty sure that will be the last Portuguese V-Prix. Sikes with these hard tyres made it tricky for those behind him as the top three scattered off into the distance. Shame about his loss of multiple positions late on in the race, as fourth could have been his.
Great race for us once again, and incredible to extend the win streak to 10 races! Also nice to see Powers closing the championship a little, let’s hope there’s a fight left in this yet – though disappointed Klaas couldn’t get past Ruiz.
I can’t say I found it to be the most thrilling of races, though the strategy variation was certainly an interesting watch!
