Worst Driver: Sutil whatever, Hamilton probably had the car to win, Buttons pace was incredible, I’d say a lot of that was the McLaren set up
Best Team: Redbull for their car, BUT, McLaren gambled and Buttons awe inspiring pace, on tyres slightly older then Vettel’s showed how right they got this call.
Worst Team: Force India, nothing wrong with the team, but both drivers cocked it up for themselves, lucky no one was looking huh Paul?
Best Overtake: Schumi double strike! Cheeky old man. You always know it’s a great race when there are double overtakes going on.
Best Funny-moment: All the drivers, All the crowd, Both commentators, me ma girlfriend and sister shouting at the telly, GET ON WITH IT! TRACKS CLEARLY DRY!
Most Surprising Result: Schumi I guess, very sad he didn’t get to taste champagne
Least Surprising Result: Vettel cocks up badly on the last lap, an yet the fates have aligned yet again througout that race, only looses 7 points.
Race Rating: 9/10
Best BBC commentator/presenter: Brundle
Worst BBC commentator/presenter: EJ man talks only rubbish these days, liked him for the first two BBC seasons, don’t like him anymore.
Best Commentary moment: Can’t remember too intense a finish

12th June 2011, 22:53 at 10:53 pm #171071AnonymousInactiveBest Driver: Button
Worst Driver: Hamilton
Best Team: er, no-one stood out…Hispania! Good result for them.
Worst Team: Ferrari. Couldn’t keep up with leaders; seemed to get caught on wrong tyres; silly mistakes from both drivers
Best Overtake: Schumacher on Kobayashi and Massa
Best Funny-moment: nervous laughter, rather than LOL, at the marshal falling over while picking the bits of Heidfeld’s wing up
Most Surprising Result: Button, awesome speed late in the race
Least Surprising Result: early bath for Hamilton – becoming a bit predictable…
Special Mention to: Schumacher for a great fighting drive without the car advantage.

12th June 2011, 23:25 at 11:25 pm #171072TommyBParticipantBest Driver: Michael Schumacher
Worst Driver: Adrian Sutil
Best Team: Red Bull

12th June 2011, 23:53 at 11:53 pm #171073Ads21ParticipantBest Driver: Michael Schumacher
Worst Driver: Lewis Hamilton
Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: er don’t really know
Best Overtake: Schumacher on Massa and Kobayashi
Most Surprising Result: Schumacher doing so well
Least Surprising Result: DRS was disgusting and far too powerful
Special Mention to: Massa’s excellent quali and opening phase of the race, but he lost it a bit as the race wore on
Race Rating: 6/10 – Far too much SC, but even if you ignore that I was left feeling really cold by how DRS robbed us a genuine fight for the podium spots, Schumacher had no chance, as with Kobayashi on the line. It felt fake. Still an epic last lap though, and thank god it wasn’t decided on a DRS pass.
Best BBC commentator/presenter: DC
Worst BBC commentator/presenter: Jake
Best Commentary moment: “did you know ‘racecar’ is ‘racecar’ spelt backwards
BBC Coverage rating: 7/10 – again let down by FOM feed, cutting away to Mrs Schumacher during an overtake FFS! Also Jake is getting annoying, but they handled the Scholari pretty well.
13th June 2011, 0:16 at 12:16 am #171074ScribeParticipantCHanged my mind when I watched the highlights, best commentary moment is the bit were Brundle mentions that Buttons leading the race.
The way he says leeeeeads! It’s conveys the situation perfectly, he’s a great commentator.
13th June 2011, 2:37 at 2:37 am #171075robbiepblakeParticipantDon’t understand why Lewis Hamilton is so popular for the worst driver nominations. He didn’t do much wrong, especailly compared to Sutil or DiResta.

Least Surprising Result: Hamilton making an arse of himself again
Special Mention to: Button (very well deserved win), Webber (good recovery after being soun by Hamilton), Shumacher (clearly hus best drive since his comeback), Massa (was doing also very well until crash).
Race Rating: 9.5/10 for the thrilling end to the race. I the race never wen’t ahead it would be 1/10
