Worst Driver: Button
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Let me get back to you on that…
Best Funny-moment: “Lewis, maybe the others are doing a one-stopper after all”
Most Surprising Result: Perez
Least Surprising Result: Senna
Special Mention to: Grosjean, Perez
Race Rating: 8/1010th June 2012, 20:32 at 8:32 pm #203491Ryan WilliamsParticipantBest Driver: Perez. Made the 1-stop strategy work beautifully, 15th to 3rd is a awesome result
Worst Driver: Button, under performed again
Best Team: McLaren. Played the strategy game perfectly
Worst Team: McLaren. Mucking up pitstops again! (While Ferrari got the strategy wrong, it wasn’t a bad decision. They gambled and unfortunately lost)
Best Overtake: Schumacher up the inside of Kobayashi into the hairpin. Sadly undone by DRS immediately afterward
Best Funny-moment: Vettel and Webber enjoying a swim after the race
Most Surprising Result: Grosjean 2nd. Read reports that Lotus were expecting to struggle this weekend. Nice to see him on the podium
Least Surprising Result: Lewis winning. It was always going to be his weekend wasn’t it?
Special Mention to: Massa. Recovered from his early spin to pick up points. Maybe more if I hadn’t had that late stop
Race Rating: 8/10Not much point doing Sky/BBC comparisons as only Sky covered the race live!
10th June 2012, 20:43 at 8:43 pm #203492matt90ParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton I guess. Although both Grosjean and Perez were good, they were a bit anonymous.
Worst Driver: Button. Him or Senna, except, Button had a race-wining car.
Best Team: McLaren I think. They were sensible on strategy, and Button failing wasn’t really their fault.
Worst Team: Ferrari. To my mind their strategy was ridiculous. If they were planning a 1-stop, then keeping to Hamilton’s pace was a mistake. Then not recognising the mistake like Red Bull only made it worse. HRT also disappointing after their good quali.
Best Overtake: Not sure I remember any really. Actually, Rosberg on somebody! Into the chicane. Kimi?
Best Funny-moment: can’t remember any.
Most Surprising Result: Perez, or maybe Button
Least Surprising Result: Schumacher
Special Mention to: Grosjean, Perez
Race Rating: 8/1010th June 2012, 20:44 at 8:44 pm #203493David-AParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton or Perez

Worst Driver: Bruno Senna
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Williams
Best Overtake: Rosberg on someone, side by side… who was that again?
Best Funny-moment: Button complaining about lack of grip
Most Surprising Result: Perez on podium
Least Surprising Result: Massa in the points
Special Mention to: Lewis Hamilton, great weekend
Race Rating: 9/1010th June 2012, 21:31 at 9:31 pm #203495RagingInfernoParticipantBest Driver: Romain Grosjean- Outqualified his more experienced teammate, and got his 1 stop strategy work to get himself into 2nd.
Worst Driver: Bruno Senna- Off the pace all weekend and spent most of the race behind Kovalainen’s Caterham.
Best Team: McLaren- Used a superior strategy to allow Hamilton to beat his closest rivals, vastly improved pitstops as well.
Worst Team: Williams- Not sure exactly how much it was the teams fault, but both drivers failed to deliver for whatever reason.
Best Overtake: Rosberg on Massa, or possibly Perez on Rosberg.
Best Funny-moment: Perez claiming that he does less pitstops than other drivers to save Sauber money!
Most Surprising Result: Perez on the podium.
Least Surprising Result: Hamilton on the podium.
Special Mention to: Fernando Alonso- Drove a great race and kept Hamilton honest for most of it, strategy let him down in the end.

Race Rating: 8/1010th June 2012, 22:40 at 10:40 pm #203497S.J.MParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton, but Grosjean or Perez deserve a mention
Worst Driver: Senna. I wanted to give him time, i wanted it to work. And its not so far.
Best Team: I dont think there was a standout team in all honesty. Perhaps Mclaren for their brave 2nd pitstop
Worst Team: HRT since they had neither driver finish.
Best Overtake: Nico on Kimi going into the Wall of Champs, both respectful of each other…. and that wall!!
Best Funny-moment:n/a
Most Surprising Result: Lack of DNFs / 1st corner mayhem
Least Surprising Result: Hamilton victory here, he’s made for this circuit
Special Mention to: as mentioned, Grosjean & Perez
Race Rating: 8/1010th June 2012, 22:52 at 10:52 pm #203498Lin1876ParticipantBest Driver: Grosjean — for tyre management
Worst Driver: Button — lapped by Hamilton, says a lot…
Best Team: Sauber — unlucky not to get Kobayashi up there as well
Worst Team: Williams — fighting with the Caterhams
Best Overtake: Perez on Rosberg — took advantage of the slow-moving Massa brilliantly
Best Funny-moment: Perez’ comment about saving the team money!
Most Surprising Result: Perez on the podium
Least Surprising Result: Senna fighting with the Caterhams
Special Mention to: Hamilton — drove well all weekend
Race Rating: 8.5/10 rounded up to 9

Best Sky commentator/presenter: Villeneuve — oppinionated is good
Worst Sky commentator/presenter: Lazenby — dull as ever
Best Commentary moment: Nothing stands out
World feed rating: 9/10 — can’t remember it missing anything, but nothing that special.10th June 2012, 23:01 at 11:01 pm #203499Antonio NarteaParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton – for sure: he was insanely fast, kept his cool and delivered
Worst Driver: Senna – as Button has a slight excuse, losing a lot of practice time and not nailing the setup
Best Team: Sauber – consistent, managed to recover from a rather poor quali and score with both drivers
Worst Team: Williams – Maldonado going through his n-th gearbox for nothing, Senna struggling even with the Caterhams
Best Overtake: Schumacher on Koba at the hairpin
Best Funny-moment: –
Most Surprising Result: Grosjean – 2nd
Least Surprising Result: Senna – 17th
Special Mention to: Paul Di Resta for a good quali and start, before getting overwhelmed with the one stoppers in front and his tires
Race Rating: 8/1010th June 2012, 23:02 at 11:02 pm #203500Alehud42ParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton, when he wins it’s always a classic
Worst Driver: Senna, was absolutely nowhere all weekend
Best Team: McLaren, for actually getting their strategy right for once
Worst Team: HRT
Best Overtake: Perez on Rosberg while also battling Massa down into turn 1, it was very professional and it was pivotal to Perez’ race.
Best Funny Moment: Seeing Jacques Villeneuve’s bald head for the first time, what was he doing?
Most Surprising Result: Grosjean and Perez out of nowhere on the podium
Least Surprising Result: Button struggling, you could see it coming from the start
Special Mention to: Grosjean, Perez, Alonso, F1
Race Rating: 9.5/10 (but I gave it a 10)
–
Best Sky commentator/presenter: Georgie Thompson, not for the GP, but the interview with Murray Walker after the coverage was brilliant.
Worst Sky commentator/presenter: Jacques Villeneuve, hate the man
Best Commentary moment: N/A
World feed rating: 9/1010th June 2012, 23:55 at 11:55 pm #203501BullfrogParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton
Worst Driver: Button
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Marussia
Best Overtake: Perez on Rosberg. He’d have got Massa too in the same move, he was way faster out of the last chicane – but Rosberg came back on from the escape road and blocked him
Best Funny-moment: The Merc pit crew bashing Schumacher’s rear wing and leaning on it, trying to get it to shut. Not much German engineering going on there!
Most Surprising Result: Perez jumping past so many drivers
Least Surprising Result: Hamilton winning, believe it or not. He’s very quick round here.
Special Mention to: Everyone on the very smiley podium (nice trophies must have helped). Great drives from Grosjean and Perez. Sergio was particularly good for doing fastest laps with one stop, and for stuffing Kobayashi.
Race Rating: 7/10
—
Best BBC commentator/presenter: Ben Edwards, kept the excitement going in the slow-burning early stages.
Worst BBC commentator/presenter: they were all good. Decent no-nonsense highlights show. Didn’t miss Jake-of-all-trades at all.
Best Commentary moment: not awarded
World feed rating: 9/10 Much better than Monaco. Clearly knew their stuff, did smart things like zooming in on the two battling cars as a whole pack came into shot.
But slapped wrist for the caption saying Webber was starting on yellow tyres.11th June 2012, 0:51 at 12:51 am #203502PamphletParticipantBest Driver: Perez
Worst Driver: Button
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Marussia
Best Overtake: Schumacher’s divebomb on Kobayashi
Best Funny-moment: Mercedes. Everything about them has been a joke, not just here, but across the whole season.
Most Surprising Result: Perez finishing third, even moreso than Grosjean finishing second.
Least Surprising Result: Schumacher retiring with a car failure.
Special Mention to: Grosjean and Perez, of course!
Race Rating: 7/10. Piss poor until the closing stages.11th June 2012, 6:48 at 6:48 am #203503TodfodParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton

Best Funny-moment: Schumacher’s pit crew putting all their strength into shutting that wing
Most Surprising Result: Grosjean in 2nd
