Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Martin Brundle
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Mind blank, but the main Sky presenter(?), always terrible and looks uncomfortable.
Best Commentary moment: “He’s coming to get you…”
World feed rating: 6/10 – watching Massa cross the line while Kobayashi/Button and Ricciardo/Schumacher were still battling!7th October 2012, 8:27 at 8:27 am #211834Antonio NarteaParticipantBest Driver: Kobayashi – superb start, superb pace in his fight with Button, superb podium.
Worst Driver: Grosjean / Senna – both taking someone out at the start and generally making fools of themselves.
Best Team: Red Bull – they found that missing something right when it counts.
Worst Team: Caterham – for letting a Marussia slip between their drivers again, but no one else really stood out as being THAT bad.
Best Overtake: Perez on Hamilton
Best Funny-moment: ninja reflexes on Kamui’s front-lift mechanic.
Most Surprising Result: Massa on the podium.

World feed rating: 7/10 – again, uninspired camera switches, delayed / insufficient on-point replays and too many HD, slo-mo eye-candy. I have no clue what happened with Rosberg and Senna, no clue what happened to Pic. Still, better than the usual Fuji TV coverage. A lot better.7th October 2012, 8:30 at 8:30 am #211835Nic MorleyParticipantBest Driver: Kobayashi

Least Surprising Result: Romain Grosjean
Special Mention to: Sebastian Vettel
Race Rating: 9/107th October 2012, 9:28 at 9:28 am #211838RagingInfernoParticipantBest Driver: Kobayashi – Outperformed his McLaren bound teammate and held off JB to take his first ever podium in front of his home crowd.
Worst Driver: Grosjean – Another clumsy first lap incident.
Best Team: RedBull – The car was lightning quick all weekend, most likely would have been a 1-2 had Grosjean not been a “nutcase”.
Worst Team: Williams – Not a particularly bad performance to be honest, but I feel they should have scored more points given how fast the car was.
Best Overtake: Perez on Hamilton.
Best Funny- moment: Brundle having to calm down Johnny Herbert during his rant on Grosjean by giving him some tea.
Most Surprising Result: Massa finishing 2nd.
Least Surprising Result: Vettel winning.
Special Mention to: Hulkenburg who thoroughly outperformed Di Resta this weekend and Ricciardo for holding off the advances of a flying Michael Schumacher.

Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Martin Brundle/Anthony Davidson (Seemed particularly good this week)
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Simon Lazenby(Doesn’t suit the job) Johnny Herbert (For his ‘pow, take that son,’ or something along those lines, because it sounded ridiculous).
Best Commentary moment: ‘He’s coming to get you…’
World feed rating: 6/10 The cameras were good I thought, especially the big pan one off the circuit where it took in the whole of the area from the degners, through the hairpin, and then all the way back around over the bridge. Otherwise, still, and always have been, fed-up with the cut to the replays of the start when the cars are closest on track, and the very last lap of the race where they missed racing because they watched Massa over the line. Makes no sense.7th October 2012, 14:17 at 2:17 pm #211841—ParticipantBest Driver: Vettel. Who else?

Worst Driver: Grosjean, Senna, Perez

Worst Driver: Grosjean
Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: Mercedes.
Best Overtake: Schumacher getting di Resta

Most Surprising Result: Hamilton qualifying 9th and finishing 5th, looks like he’s practising for next year.

Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: David Coulthard
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Jake Humphrey Too much ponderous build-up and unnecessary put-downs, e.g. of Gary Anderson’s explanation of the Red Bull rear wing. And we now know he’s more interested in QPR v Wigan Athletic than F1.
Best Commentary moment: David Coulthard’s line about Michael saying “boo” to di Resta as he came past
World feed rating: 5/10 There’s a race going on dammit, you can show us a replay of Massa crossing the line on his own later… - AuthorPosts
