Best Driver: Di Resta – Performed well in qualifying and had a strong race to take home his best ever F1 result.
Worst Driver: Bruno Senna – Looked very poor compared to his teammate Maldonado.
Best Team: Mclaren – Would have been a double podium had it not been for Hamilton’s retirement.
Worst Team: HRT – Looking distant after Marussia brought an upgrade package to this weekends race.
Best Overtake: Massa on Senna – How Felipe held on to that I will never know!
Best Funny- moment: The aforementioned Massa overtake.
Most Surprising Result: Di Resta taking 4th.
Least Surprising Result: Vettel and at least 1 Mclaren on the podium.
Special Mention to: Jean-Eric Vergne for being able to pat Schumacher on the back after being taken out. Very nice to see and its given me a lot of respect for JEV.

Best Driver: Di Resta – he must really love Singapore.
Worst Driver: Kobayashi – absolutely nowhere all weekend, struggled in 20th for 30 laps or so.
    Best Team: Force India
Worst Team: Williams – effed up Maldonado’s strategy throwing him into 10th from 3rd during the first safety car period and a double DNF to top it all up nicely.
    Best Overtake: Massa on Senna.
Best Funny-moment: “what happened there?! what happened there?!” – what else?
    Most Surprising Result: Rosberg – 5th / Glock – 12th.
Least Surprising Result: Alonso on the podium.
Special Mention to: Lotus – making the most out of a VERY difficult weekend for them and keeping Kimi in contention, still.
    Race Rating: 5/10

World feed rating: 7.5/10 – decent but we never saw much of the leaders, never saw what happened to Massa at the start. However, nice camera placements.

You’re right, should’ve picked them instead of Sauber.

Best Driver: di Resta – although I’d forgotten about him until I read other responses. There’s something very bland about him that makes me forget he’s there!
    Worst Driver: Schumacher
Best Team: Force India, an unfortunately timed safety car is the only reason Hulkenberg didn’t finish well
Worst Team: Williams, both drivers doing well until the cars broke on them
    Best Overtake: Massa on Senna
Best Funny-Moment: What happened there? What happened there?
    Most Surprising Result: Glock 12th
Least Surprising Result: Karthikeyan hit a wall
Special Mention To: Lotus, considering how badly they started the weekend they managed to get both cars home in the points & Vettel, disappointed with himself in qualifying he started superbly and just kept going
    Race Rating: 6/10

Least Surprising Result: Alonso picking up points by other people’s misfortune again.

Ah, it’s great to see that you’re still on it. :)

How many points did Alonso gain from Hamilton’s failure? 3. How many did Vettel gain? 7.

I know you’re a Vettel fan, but how much more ignorant car you be? Alonso lost a win in Italy thanks to his anti-roll bar failure and a potential podium (Massa finished fifth) in Belgium when he was punted off by Grosjean. Oh wait, but those aren’t misfortunes are they?

Complete this sentence for me: To finish first, first you have to …

Bad luck and a failure isn’t the same thing. A puncture or being taken out by another driver would be considered bad luck. A car failure is a failure from the team. Alonso and Ferrari might not have had the fastest car this season, but they have the best driver and the most consistent team.
