Has anyone else noticed that they’re using the music from ‘The Island’?

The piece was composed by Steve Jablonsky (sic), a student of the great Hans Zimmer (Gladiator amongst others). The music is in my opinion one of the best pieces of music ever produced for a film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK0tOuv_gIw

The reason I highlight this is because in late 2008 a you-tube video was up as ‘2008 F1 season highlights’ or something along those lines, which was an amateur video accompanied by this very same piece of music. The video was actually footage of F1 as far back as 1998, but the video was well put together with the music, especially as it swelled towards the end and the footage became drivers celebrating on the podium.

I suspect that the code-masters crew were big enough F1 fans to remember this now defunct video, and that fact alone gives me confidence that these guys really are F1 fans.

Am I the only person who remembers this awesome video?

I don’t believe I ever saw it, but if anyone knows where it is or who it was by, please share it with us.
