Hello all, as all of you are aware, I have a great fondness for rolling quizzes here on F1Fanatic. The rules are simple: I give you some clues and you have to figure out which F1 driver I am pretending to be. Whoever gets it right starts off the next round of guess who, and so on and so on. Here goes:
“I was born in Norfolk, scored 9 podiums and 98 career points, and raced for eight teams. I have won at Le Mans, started 158 grands prix, and currently provide commentary for TV coverage of F1. I also have a son currently competing in Formula Three.
Who am I?”
26th November 2010, 6:26 at 6:26 am #153242SouthAussie94ParticipantMartin Brundle? The F1 commentator part really gave it away…

Come on PortuGoose, Portu-Give-us a harder one!
26th November 2010, 9:08 at 9:08 am #153244SoerenKaaeParticipantCan I do a new one?
“I am a european. I raced for McLaren. My son is currently also involved with McLaren. I have won several class victories at Le Mans, and have recently raced in NASCAR.
Who am I?”
26th November 2010, 9:24 at 9:24 am #153245GirtsParticipantJan Magnussen!

26th November 2010, 10:18 at 10:18 am #153247GirtsParticipantOkay, I’ll try a little harder one, although I don’t believe it will take too long for the F1 fanatics to resolve this:
“I’m Italian, I used to race in F1 in 1990s but I had a bad car and not much luck so sometimes I did not manage to qualify for the race. Now I have my own sportscar racing team. Who am I?”
26th November 2010, 10:22 at 10:22 am #153248Carlos SantosParticipantVincenzo Sospiri
26th November 2010, 10:33 at 10:33 am #153249GirtsParticipantGood try but I actually had another “F1 reject” in mind.
26th November 2010, 11:18 at 11:18 am #153250TommyBParticipantDidn’t most Italians in the 1990’s have a bad car :P Another clue maybe?
26th November 2010, 11:22 at 11:22 am #153251GirtsParticipantOkay, he was born on the same date as Enzo Ferrari, just 60 years later.

26th November 2010, 12:00 at 12:00 pm #153253AnonymousInactiveWas it Giovanni Lavaggi?
26th November 2010, 12:06 at 12:06 pm #153254GirtsParticipantYou’re right smifaye! Now it’s your turn.
26th November 2010, 12:14 at 12:14 pm #153255AnonymousInactiveWoohoo!
I shall continue with an Italian driver for this one.
I share my first name with one of the most famous footballing referees.
I was the driver who brought the first points to a popular minnow team and also a front row grid position.
