I may be asking something that was answered elsewhere, apologies of so.
During last 4 races, FOM feed was showing fuel usage by driver and so I had few questions.

1. Is this publicly available data during (unlikely) / after the race?
2. How do they know each driver’s race target? Do they know how much fuel is in each tank? and how do they know fuel target per lap?
3. Can we deduce from this which engine is more fuel efficient?
4. Is this data actual of approximations?

To your second question, I’m guessing that it is a simple calculation based on every car starting with 100 kg of fuel onboard.
