About time really.
At least two FIA run disciplines, GT1 and WRC have experimented with live race/rally feeds over the internet. It’s worked out better for GT1 due to the disaster surrounding the WRC at the moment but importantly the technology now exists and FOM should have jumped on it quicker.
That said, viewrship in the UK since the BBC took F1 back did increase significantly from memory and while it’s bound to drop due to the limitations people have with being able to receive Sky, interest certainly hasn’t waned in the UK WITHOUT internet coverage.
Interesting stuff really.
