Renault "Blown Floor"

    Reading Renault f1’s website, it says one of their upgrades was a “Blown floor”. Does anybody know and care to explain what this is and how it works? If Renault introduce a blown wing to the next gp and have a blown floor as well, could they possibly be the fastest?

    by blow floor they are refering to the blown difusor, the difusor is part of the floor. I dont think renault have any plans to introduce a blown rear wing anyway.

    how do you blow the diffuser? you mean an exhaust driven diffuser?

    very correct, it’s the exhaust wich blows air on the diffusser.

    If it was something else they wouldn’t just say it on their website :)

    Red Bull a bring a similar upgrade with a blown engine. Ha ha, get it.
