Just a quick trivia question – which would probably appear in the ‘Stats’ article after the US Grand Prix. Can anyone remember the last time a team swapped both drivers between two races? Toro Rosso are going from Sainz/Gasly in Japan to Kvyat/Incumbent in the USA.

When was the last time this happened? I was expecting it to be around 1994 when there were multiple driver changes throughout the season, but I can’t find an example.

    Help!?

Looking back through results, I believe it was Lotus in 1994. Herbert and Philippe Adams drove in Portugal, then Zanardi and Eric Bernard drove in Jerez. @ben-n

@ben-n @blockwall2 Sounds right to me but I’ll check it before the stats preview goes up tomorrow.
