Is there one colour which always works?
Red always seems like a winner …
Then again, blue has often worked really well …
But silver can be pretty impressive …
Any thoughts?

For example the Dark Blue Prosts were stunning, the orange Arrows, the green jaguars, the red Ferraris, the yellow Jordans. They all look equally stunning in my opinion. If I had to pick, I would say I have a thing for blue F1 cars.

An artist once made one for the BMW GT3 with basically every colour, lvoed it!

American Airlines/NSDAP-era Mercedes silver.
The colour of the Leyton House that led a race wasn’t too bad either.
Neither would be Vanwall’s British Racing (I think) Green.
White (race-winning Hesketh, BGP001) wouldn’t be bad either.
Nothing beats white and bright green though (I’ll forgive the bit of blue):Yes, I know a lot of you will disagree with me on that last one.

15th July 2015, 8:47 at 8:47 am #301937PorscheF1ParticipantI does not really have a nice scheme to it does it? Anyway, what I meant was that I always prefer cars with several matching colours, or one bright one like the Ferrari cars.

but…
even I cannot stop looking at the classic Jordan yellow and black

15th July 2015, 14:26 at 2:26 pm #301960Keith CollantineKeymaster@junior-pilot Love the Benetton B189. One of my absolute favourites.
Funnily enough, most of Benetton’s pre-Briatore liveries were great.
