The topic title speaks for itself. What is your dream commentary team? It can be a group of either two or three commentators; from either the past or present.

too easy. limiting my choices to active commentators, i say brundle, dc and david hobbs. 3 drivers, 3 eras, comedy gold!
17th August 2012, 4:35 at 4:35 am #207222KingsharkParticipantIf we look beyond main-stream TV pundits; my dream commentary team is Kimi Raikkonen, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Jacques Villeneuve. What a commentator trio. :D
17th August 2012, 6:55 at 6:55 am #207223GirtsParticipantI watch F1 on RTL (Germany), where the former F1 driver Christian Danner and Heiko Waßer have been commenting every race since 1998 I guess. I would happily exchange them for a combination of Keith Collantine and the extremely popular German TV host Günther Jauch.

17th August 2012, 7:31 at 7:31 am #207225F1YankeeParticipantraikkonen, hakkinen and kovalainen….from the colin chapman school of broadcasting. it’s not what’s said, it’s what is left unsaid

So, in the case of Raikkonen, that would mean everything?
17th August 2012, 7:40 at 7:40 am #207227KingsharkParticipantIn my trio Jacques would be the main commentator, Juan Pablo the color commentator, and Kimi the pundit.
17th August 2012, 8:03 at 8:03 am #207228the_sigmanParticipantWell it should have been Maldonado, Kimi and Checo, to understand what the commentators say.
17th August 2012, 8:43 at 8:43 am #207229AnonymousInactiveMurray Walker and Jeremy Clarkson.
17th August 2012, 10:50 at 10:50 am #207230MuzzleFlashParticipantCharlie Cox and Martin Brundle.
17th August 2012, 14:19 at 2:19 pm #207231Joey-PoeyParticipantOoh, I do like AJ’s suggestion. Throwing Hobbs in there might be fun, too.
17th August 2012, 19:51 at 7:51 pm #207232MattParticipantMy perfect three would consist of three elements.
For an analytic, driver’s knowledge angle: Brundle
For telling it like it is: Raikkonen or Webber
For when things get crazy: This guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k0TGQQptFs17th August 2012, 19:59 at 7:59 pm #207233ShaneB457ParticipantMartin Brundle, James Allen and Jaime Alguersuari.
