Due to the amount of rain we’ve had recently Silverstone are warning people who are camping at the track to be prepared for the conditions. Details here:

At Spa last year we camped and couldn’t get the car back onto the site after Friday due to the rain.
My advice would be to stock up for the entire weekend at the Tesco in Towcester and leave your car on-site all weekend.

Really anxious now, as not sure about carrying all our camping stuff from the car park to the pitch. Getting muddy is one thing, but this is sounding like a right nightmare

Have you seen the forecast for the weekend?!

I live 10 miles from Silverstone and its currently……..raining!

Well its supposed to thunder tomorrow afternoon!!! Mind you, we went to Spa last year and that was pouring with rain too!

Great news – not. Has anyone heard from campingf1? Anyone stayed there before and know what the ground is like for drainage ?
