Nelson Piquet Jnr got himself involved in a post-race fight in a NASCAR Nationwide race at Richmond yesterday:

Like father, like son: Here’s Nelson Piquet Snr’s infamous set-to with Eliseo Salazar in the 1982 German Grand Prix:

I would love to see Jnr get knocked out, what a loser.

Should have called him a cheater – I’m pretty sure that makes him livid:)

Any kind of punishment for behaving like children or is it going to be the usual NASCAR way of dealing with things of having a small chat and leaving it?

Piquet senior was the leader of the racer, Piquet Jr. was a backmarker

He was probably faking it for money…

…just wondering – did his team mate win the race?

Both could’ve had a successful USA football career :P

Piquet Jr. was not a backmarker on the race.
And Brad Keselowski won the race. He is not Nelson’s teammate, they don’t even use the same engine.

Interesting to notice that Alonso really got out with no fault on his shoulders after that episode. Of course, he didn’t knew about it…

Coincidentally, I was listening to Limp Bizkit’s Full Nelson when I went thru this thread.

Not much of a fight when neither man removes his crash helmet.
