I’ve never really thought of Nico as a great driver, I would just have to say he is making the most of what he has and generally just doing a better job at it than Lewis at this stage in the season. Give it another few rounds and we can take a better evaluation of if he is ‘faster’. Perhaps he is gentler on his tyres that enables him to run slightly longer, and drives less aggressive than Lewis. He may well have adapted to this periods tyres better Lewis has as well.

I would say at this stage he is performing better, but not so much ‘faster’
