Drivers get their starting position in number of DRS activations (1st – 1, 2nd -2 … 20th – 20) to use during the race? :D

Being part of it as the 9th person to join to seeing where it is today is really very satisfying! I would recommend joining to anyone who enjoys good fair fun racing – intense and hilarious at the same time, with a sense of humour.
If you are worried that you aren’t good enough – don’t be. We have members covering the entire speed spectrum already – you’ll always have someone to race. If you are worried that you won’t fit in – don’t be. These guys are extremely welcoming people many of which have become good friends and after meeting some of them I can confirm are definitely not axe murderers!
I can’t praise this club and it’s attitude enough. If you’re still undecided, here’s yet another awesome (yet perhaps outdated) video:

Hope to see you on track soon!

2nd August 2011, 17:12 at 5:12 pm #175797BarnstableDParticipantI think long fast corners are one of Red Bull’s key strengths seeing as they have so much downforce.
1st August 2011, 23:49 at 11:49 pm #175680BarnstableDParticipantNoticed this. I think this just shows how well the rest of the car works at producing downforce so that they can run less rear wing and thus less drag. I’m guessing it’s an amazing floor/diffuser they have that compensates.
25th July 2011, 0:19 at 12:19 am #175127BarnstableDParticipantHate the idea of split screening two battles at once. Love the idea of split screening two cars battling/pitting/qualifying etc.
I want to see every battle, rather than having to watch two at once or chosing which one to properly watch. Replays work better. Commentary would not be as smooth either and from what I’ve seen of it used in America it’s very gimmicky.
18th July 2011, 22:46 at 10:46 pm #174846BarnstableDParticipantLast race I’d say they had the second most downforce of the field. Rest of the races however I think it’s largely to do with the off-throttle blown diffuser. Last race they had updates though so maybe they have just gained.
13th July 2011, 12:05 at 12:05 pm #173755BarnstableDParticipantHow are Renault going to supply themselves, Williams, Red Bull and Lotus then?
10th July 2011, 23:38 at 11:38 pm #173650BarnstableDParticipantAlso – F1 is a team sport and team orders are allowed. It’s up to each team to decide how they will use them – not Webber fans or people who are bored of Seb winning.
10th July 2011, 23:36 at 11:36 pm #173649BarnstableDParticipantHorner made the right call. Webber ignored it and tried to overtake Vettel. He didn’t manage to. That kind of hints that the only way Webber would have been able to take Vettel was through a hard challenge which *could* have ended in losing out on two big sets of points. Especially that late in the GP when the points are a given, it would be completely stupid to let an avoidable accident happen. It’s fine in retrospect saying ‘they didn’t crash and should have been allowed to race’, but imagine if Horner didn’t send the message and they had crashed. They’d be much bigger criticisms and flashbacks to Turkey last year that would have damaged RB much more. Eddie Jordan, for once, was spot on.
10th July 2011, 23:28 at 11:28 pm #173701BarnstableDParticipantThe penalties today were stop and go because the new pit lane is short and cuts some corners. Therefore a normal drive through penalty would not be an adaquate penalty.
Not a Hamilton fan, and I think it was borderline, but an ok move. It didn’t push Massa off track, he went off himself later. Also Hamilton didnt steer into Massa. After they made contact he put opposite lock on to straighten the car out and avoid losing the back end. I think Massa did the same. It’s the same as correcting oversteer, not Hamilton deliberately trying to aim the car at Massa.
The weaving was borderline rules I reckon. But to be fair, all great F1 drivers run fine to those borderlines, as do good teams – it’s how the sport works.
8th July 2011, 11:19 at 11:19 am #170487BarnstableDParticipantI was trying to make a move, I just misjudged how close we were. But cheers.
Also I present, really rubbish racing really ridiculous replay 1 (RRRRRR1):
8th July 2011, 0:05 at 12:05 am #170484BarnstableDParticipantThe incident at Maple Valley I thought was a fair attempt really and was not too much more than a racing incident – but I havn’t really looked at it. I think it was more than fair that you let me through so absolutely no penalty is necessary. I was really disappointed in the race because I should have easily won but had a sloppy couple of laps that cost me it not because of the incident.
For the Iberian incident though I just see it as I was the guy behind – my fault. Obviously I’d prefer no penalty but I could totally understand if one is agreed on.
Was good fun racing again though! Just bad performances.
7th July 2011, 21:52 at 9:52 pm #170482BarnstableDParticipantGotta say after today’s racing that I did appalingly. Should have won one but screwed up and let the two behind me get too close. Made several mistakes that caused collisions. Replaying the last race, I completely deserve a penalty for ploughing into smifaye – sorry :(. I think its only fair that I get this penalty as the series is very sporting – Lizard letting me back through on Maple race 2 for example. This was a shame too because I thought I had a good car for Iberian and would do well.
7th July 2011, 10:57 at 10:57 am #170437BarnstableDParticipant@smifaye – I’m here and will be tonight! Although slightly unprepared.
Also there was a girl in our flat in first year, she had total played hours on WoW of over 70 days. I have never dared touch it because of that.
