But Hamilton did smash Rosberg. :)
However Hamilton did say he wouldn’t want to win like Vettel last year. Yet he was obviously quite happy yesterday. Was there any difference? Wonder how Mercedess will deny it.31st January 2014, 22:18 at 10:18 pm #248439crr917Participantmclaren

5th November 2013, 17:42 at 5:42 pm #244729crr917ParticipantLack of money is new teams’ problem. BMW, Audi, etc. got the money but they know how much they have to put in F1 before they see any gains and do not consider it worthy. WEC is cheaper, but less popular. Maybe popular enough for them?
The other thing about the big car manufacturers is that they want to join a series and win immediately. And F1 does not want that. F1 has a reputation, too. Competition of the best. How can F1 teams be the best there is if someone can show up from nowhere and beat them in their own game?28th October 2013, 13:47 at 1:47 pm #243961crr917Participant^^ There was time then we had refueling and two-way telemetry. What decisions came from the driver back then?

25th September 2013, 7:33 at 7:33 am #242016crr917ParticipantCompared to previous years the leader gets a lot of coverage regardless who that might be. In 2011 we would see Vettel at the start, when he pits and when he takes the flag. In Singapore we saw much more than that.

12th September 2013, 6:27 at 6:27 am #241522crr917ParticipantThere are ambitious plans to enhance the digital aspect of the series. A video game is in development that will allow fans watching TV to race in real time with the competitors.
Also, the racing cars will have a power-boost function to increase passing speed, and fans will be able to vote when it is used during the race.

Good laugh. Your viewpoint changed from “Webber’s car breaks all the time so it must be sabotaged” to “Vettel has more DNFs because his car is built closer to the limit”. And now you have a complete list of issues form Q and Race in front of you and you talk about “pure luck”. And twisting. How convenient of you to remember Steve Matchett words now. Or am I mistaken and you quoted him when you blamed RBR of sabotaging Webber’s car?
