Well, what can I say. Finally my luck has turned and crossing the line first means I win my first race of my career!! I would like to thank my team, my engineer, the pit crew for such a great job, wouldn’t be possible without their dedicated work! Lotus in general for providing me such a good car that was fast everywhere. Joking aside I really enjoyed that race and it looks like McWoblin is turning into a dark horse that could take any of the top 3 spots if he keeps this form up!!

I won’t be able to make January races use my uni exams. Will be back first week of February.9th December 2013, 22:03 at 10:03 pm #243441Darren ArcherParticipant@jonny705 it was me you hit on the first corner, don’t worry about it, not sure if I turned in to much to cause the spin or not. It was also me that you let through easily later on in the race, wouldn’t have minded if you had tried to defend it, you got a penalty which is bad enough.
Happy with that race, got back onto the podium, been a while since I was there. Hopefully get back up the table into the top 3 :)13th November 2013, 17:57 at 5:57 pm #243379Darren ArcherParticipantNot a great race from me. Thought my qualifying time was good but then it was blitzed by my team mate and Odin. Nothing really exciting happened for me in the race apart from making constant mistakes and crashing all by myself. Although there was a collision between me and @cscottyf195 which was mostly my fault. Odin went for the inside line and I tried to defend it hit the kerb and touched wheels with him which put him into the wall. Was expecting a penalty for it but somehow never got one. Sorry for that! Somehow managed to get 4th by odins penalty, if it’s not overturned. Hopefully USA will be better for me race wise. Big congrats to @mrgrieves for the treble in Canada!! Still behind me in the championship though hahaha
30th October 2013, 18:20 at 6:20 pm #243346Darren ArcherParticipantThat was quite an interesting race for myself. Qualified 2nd surprisingly and got off to a reasonable start. Went with the 3 stop strategy as I had no chance with the 2 stop. Had a minor collision with mark which put me into 6th. Managed to overtake a few people and get back to battling for 3rd place as Odin had built out a lead I had no chance of keeping up with. After my third pit stop I was behind Alfred for a few laps before managing to get by and pull out a gap to make it a comfortable 3rd place.
Overall very happy with the result. Hopefully I can push in and maybe win a race this season!!28th October 2013, 13:34 at 1:34 pm #243337Darren ArcherParticipantQ: How are you feeling about the upcoming season?

22nd August 2013, 22:34 at 10:34 pm #231779Darren ArcherParticipantWell what can i say about that race? Qualified 4th and got off to an ok start having a minor collision with mad dog in turn 3, where one of my penalties was overturned. Then came the rain, well sort of, pitted for inters at the same time as everyone else. I seemed to put for softs much earlier than anyone else and gained time on everyone making my way through to first place. I held my position for most of the race until jonny overtook me just before the last few laps where the rain came back on. I pitted earlier than jonny but made a few mistakes on my final few laps which let jonny be less than 10 seconds behind me which cost me my first place due to my other penalty for hitting Odin. Gutted is an understatement but hopefully my first win will come soon!!

24th May 2013, 18:10 at 6:10 pm #231462Darren ArcherParticipant@maddogmolloy just to remind you that i wont make the race on monday. with 3 exams that week i suppose i better do some revision for them, even though 100% Monaco does sound like it could be interesting to say the least.
8th May 2013, 18:37 at 6:37 pm #231378Darren ArcherParticipant@ljkobrien how do you record your races?? it looks like youre recording it through the game itself
8th May 2013, 18:36 at 6:36 pm #231377Darren ArcherParticipantHad a good start to the race, managing to avoid some collisions in the chicane in the first lap. Was sitting 2nd for a while but as usual on this track i made mistakes. after pitting a lap earlier than @ljkobrien i was hoping to undercut but ended up a second behind after he pitted.
had a brilliant battle with @ljkobrien for a decent amount of laps always staying within a second throughout every lap until i span at the hairpin, by putting down the throttle too quickly.
luckily i got past my team mate and ltalfred had made a mistake. i caught up with him and we both passed @maddogmolloy after he made a mistake from pushing too hard. finished 3rd but got 2nd due to ltalfreds penalty.22nd April 2013, 17:50 at 5:50 pm #231270Darren ArcherParticipantQ: How are you feeling about the upcoming season?
