    Best Driver: Magnussen
    Worst Driver: Gutierrez
    Best Team: McLaren
    Worst Team: Lotus, but that was pretty much expexted from him considering their testing.
    Best Overtake: Bottas’ first overtake on Raikkonen
    Funniest Moment: Button’s pit-shortcut.
    Most Surprising Result: The entirety of qualifying.
    Least Surprising Result: Lotus not finishing the race.
    Special Mention to: Kvyat, Bottas, Ricciardo, Kobayashi, Hulkenberg.
    Race Rating: 7/10

    World feed rating: 6/10, graphics dropped out quite often, but the new ones are quite nice.

    It seems some people were kinda shocked about Perez and how far behind Hulkenberg he was, but he suffered a puncture on lap one, causing him to start with a major deficit. He did have some problems with his brakes during qualifying as well, apparently.

    Ouch, that hurt @prisoner-monkeys! Joking aside though, that livery would look great, but then again, I’m not fully sure how trustworthy the Brazilian media is, as you mentioned.

    Something I found striking was that Robin Frijns didn’t only thank Caterham, but also thanked Renault a lot in his interviews after the Caterham announcement (particular interview is in Dutch)…

    Furthermore, Tony Fernandes mentioned him quite often in his interview with Ted Kravitz on Sky, along with a lot of praise. He even mentioned how he was contemplating giving him a 2014 seat. Does anyone else here find that interesting for the 2015 lineup? Possibly even mid 2014?

    @fastiesty

    and Frijns now even has 6m Euros backing.. new management did him well

    I’m sorry to digress from this thread’s subject, but what’s your source on that?

    Well, seeing how Caterham’s GP2 team hasn’t confirmed any drivers either, a Rossi/Frijns lineup would be a possible choice, certainly if these rumors are true!

    That could also be M4X.

    I have a feeling that if Marussia chooses a Frijns/Bianchi line-up, Caterham might as well just throw in the towel immediately.

    This line-up would consist of 2 of the most impressive young drivers who are easily able to adjust to their car and are also quick and clean drivers.

    With the drivers that still are available, it would be incredibly tough for Caterham to pick a line-up to rival that of Marussia in terms of talent, with only Nasr, Felix Da Costa and Vandoorne springing to mind.

    If this lineup will happen, it will probably be one of the interesting in-team battles next season (at least, if the Marussia MR03 isn’t completely terrible). Let’s just hope that the bad blood gained in the 2012 WSR 3.5 Finale is lost in that case!

    @prisoner-monkeys

    They had a weaker car than Caterham, but a stronger driver in Bianchi. I’m guessing they will want someone of similar ilk, and maybe give up on an immediate sponsor payment to chase a bigger prize later.

    Which sounds just like a Vandoorne, Calado, Frijns or Nasr ( who has backing but is also talented). I would astually be rather happy to see any of them in F1 next year, certainly paired up with Bianchi!

    @me4me

    Redbull are known for their KERS troubles.

    The entire ERS-unit (including stuff like batteries) is supplied with the engine, so Red Bulls history with KERS will not be of any importance.
