Hi everyone!

2012 will be my first F1 – I was hoping you knowledgeable lot could help me out with a couple of questions?

I’ve booked via silverstone.co.uk, with camping so will be staying in Woodlands (lively) – am I right in thinking that I’ll be pitching my tent right next to my car?

We were planning on driving down on Friday morning (from Newcastle so quite a journey) but I’ve noticed most people on here plan to arrive on Wednesday or Thursday – is this just to get a closer camping spot or am I missing out on something by not getting there earlier?
