Kubica, order of finishers of the 2009 Belgian GP.
1st June 2019, 1:19 at 1:19 am #396349CucamestParticipant@paulgilb That’s exactly it! Andretti in 1976, Hunt in 1977, Hamilton in 2007 and Alonso in 2008! This one may have been a bit too easy! Over to you!
31st May 2019, 16:53 at 4:53 pm #396344CucamestParticipantThank you!
Name the next driver on the list:
Mario Andretti
James Hunt
Lewis Hamilton
???31st May 2019, 14:30 at 2:30 pm #396339CucamestParticipantYeah I also then remembered about Timo Glock’s one-off appearance in 2004 for Jordan… Is it that they all had a podium finish as their only points-scoring finish that year? So the next one would be Fisichella – 2009?
30th May 2019, 20:22 at 8:22 pm #396330CucamestParticipantIs it a third driver to get a chance half-way through a season and score a point? In which case the next name would be Vettel – 2007.

It was often sung with the lyrics “siamo campioni del mondo” which means “we are world champions,” so I believe that since then it has been associated with a lot of Italian presence in sports, and with Ferrari going strong this year they were definitely cheering them on.

19th April 2015, 19:09 at 7:09 pm #297146CucamestParticipantThere were a lot of very good entries for this round, but the win goes to @PhilEReid for his redesign of the Oschersleben narrowly edged out @vmaxmuffin new Lausitzring. On to you for the next round!
18th April 2015, 17:07 at 5:07 pm #297088CucamestParticipantI’ll be judging the competition in 24 hours!

For the next challenge, we have to save the German GP!
As you all probably know, the German GP was dropped from this year’s calendar because neither the Nurburgring nor the Hockenheimring were able to pay Ecclestone’s ever rising fees to host a GP.
Your goal is to bring the German GP back to another location. You have two options.
1) You may design a street circuit in any city within Germany, you may have a purposely built section but the track needs to be mainly street based.
You may not destroy any buildings while building new roads.
The track needs to incorporate a pit lane that needs to be designed (either with the track or on another link).
The track needs to be between 4km and 7km.2) Redesign a current racetrack in Germany that is NOT the Nurburgring (Nordschleife included) or the Hockenheimring.
You may keep up to 50% of the current track design.
You may not destroy any buildings while building the new section but you may destroy the pit complex and the grandstands if needed.
The track needs to incorporate a pit lane that needs to be designed (either with the track or on another link). You may use the current pit lane or design a new one.
The track needs to be between 4km and 7km.I will be judging the competition after the Bahrain GP. Good luck!

5.263 km long and run counter-clockwise.
The European style pits will be alongside the Pacific Motorway, by the start and finish points while the American style pits will be by the football (soccer in North America) fields alongside the 19th Av. between the 3km and 4km marks.6th April 2015, 21:23 at 9:23 pm #296023CucamestParticipantAre we allowed to create new roads as long as we don’t destroy any buildings? @vmaxmuffin

18th March 2015, 20:31 at 8:31 pm #294781CucamestParticipantI chose Calgary, Canada as the city for my 1/3 permanent and 2/3 street circuit.
It is 6.828 km long with 16 corners and is run counter-clockwise.10th March 2015, 22:37 at 10:37 pm #293954CucamestParticipanthttp://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6552928
6.813 km and run Counter-clockwise.
The first shorter circuit leaves after turn 7 and rejoins the track at turn 19 (the last one) while the second one’s pits are between the 4 and 5km mark (turns 13 and 14) and leaves the track at turn 17 to rejoin at turn 10
