Hi All

I am taking my F1 mad son to Silverstone 2012 as a 21st birthday surprise.

I have decided to get grandstand tickets to ensure a better view (and for the “roaming” available on Saturday.

I am going to go for Gold tickets – thoughts on the best option or my understanding from reading various forums appreciated:-

– Woodcote B – preffered option at moment – look like you see the cars for quite a while with a slower section, then you get the acceleration up the old Pits straight.

– Village A – have read that this is a slow section – so unsure about this stand – but it is close to International Pits Straight

– Luffield A – looks to be similar view to Woodcote B but you miss the acceleration away

– Vale A – Youtube videos seem to indicate you dont see much, although you do see Podium at the end

Any thoughts / opinions greatly appreciated
