It’s morning here, so I’m putting on a fresh batch of coffee. Wake up and smell the E21. Go, Kimi!

If you go to a website to look at pre-launch leaked pictures, I don’t think you can complain about it, like it’s some kind of spoiler. We didn’t force you to come here and look at these, did we?

I like that the E21 is less Lotus-y. Anyone else notice that aside from the teams web address, I didn’t see the word Lotus featured anywhere on that car. Perhaps, that’s why we’re seeing more red; they’re stepping away from the shenanigans surrounding the name and sponsorship, and getting back to building fast cars. That’s okay in my book.

Bring on the new paint! I want see how fast it goes, then perhaps its true beauty can be perceived.

Yeah, that’s complicated! Although it’s nice to see that if you’re fast, but blow it in flat-out qualifying, you can redeem your position somewhat during the appropriate heat. This should eliminate fast cars starting at the back.

I guess IndyCar officials missed Sebastian Vettel’s race at Yas Marina. ;-)

On the U.S. side, the Soft Pauer app works okay, but has some interesting characteristics. Since Speed channel was so dreadful, I used the app to watch most events live.

Looking forward to NBC coverage, which is supposed to provide some long-overdue online options. There’s nothing like the iPlayer here.

I think that debaser91 hit the bullseye on this. I remember Senna as one of those polarizing characters — only loved or hated. Magon4’s listing reflects this, too.

And I’m old enough to remember when cars sprouted wings. :-)

While I understand those who’ve identified Ferrari as the biggest disappointment, I see their problems resulting from being faced with the Red Bull juggarnaut. I believe that’s why they’ve swapped (perhaps less regularly than desired) next-best status with McLaren this year.

    My biggest disappointment — Williams.

Biggest driver disappointment — No F1 drive for Nico Hulkenburg; he deserves one (I just rewatched his qualifying and drive at Interlagos last year; he needs to be on the grid).

    This site is fantastic. (F1Fantastic?)

There are lots of corporate and news release-rehashing postings elsewhere, but this site has people who pay attention and are passionate about motorsport. That’s something well beyond what I’ve found elsewhere.

Good show, Keith! You’ve given fans a wonderful home — a home where you keep knocking down the walls and putting in suites of posh, new rooms. Very nice.

Where else do you see fans sharing their own artwork? These are the real fans of Formula 1.

I don’t see Webber playing second fiddle to anyone. Even with the enormous support for Seb within Red Bull, Mark seemingly had no qualms about publicly sharing his feelings about being treated like a “Number Two”.

I don’t see that guy yielding position to ‘Nando, regardless of team affiliation (and Luca’s checkbook)!
