Thanks for the info Craig, I may well take you up on that offer if I can find you among all the people there. I’m already pretty nervous about going and camping on my own, and praying that it’s one of those rare Spa weekends where it doesn’t rain too hard or too often!

I’ve got GA tickets and I’m camping in the yellow area at the track, and I’ve also got two night in Brussels to sightsee on the way. Was just wondering if anyone could clear up a few things for me? I’m looking to arrive at the circuit on Thursday morning, will the campsite be open by then? And is there anywhere on the campsite or the circuit where I can recharge my camera and phone? I’ll probably need to do both every day or so, and since I’m just one guy in a tent I’m not going to have an electrical hookup on the site, as I assume they’re mainly reserved for camper vans and the like. Cheers for your help!

I’m getting a coach from Manchester so there’s no way I’ll be able to arrive early. My plan for the race is basically to roam from Vale round to Copse and back taking as many pictures as I can, assuming the GA area is continuous like the circuit map says? Is this a terrible idea? I know I can’t get one good viewing place so I figured wandering around the track would be the next best option. I also know nothing about the layout of the paddock areas, is there a trade stand type area anywhere in the circuit? I assume toilets and food stalls are distributed around the track? Thanks for your help and advice, I’ve enjoyed this tread so far!
