Everyone is now busy with looking ahead to the first Grand Prix, there are a lot of 2012 season preview articles, and pundits are making predictions. I’ve decided to do the opposite and make an off-season review by reviewing and listing all the noteworthy F1 Fanatic news articles from November 28, 2011 until today (we can still add something to it until March 15).
So here are all the (in my view) noteworthy news of the 2011/12 off-season, somehow categorized and listed in chronological order.

My least favourite moment was Kubica hurting himself again.
My favourite moment was getting the first picture of the Mercedes W03 – to the best of my knowoldge, before anyone else :-)
8th March 2012, 15:47 at 3:47 pm
My Favourite and least favourite were to see Bruno Senna get a seat where Rubens should be. :(

Wow, this is great, @girts – thanks for compiling it!
Looking over the list, I’d have to say my favorite moment was the announcement that Kimi was coming back. I was jumping around with glee about that one for days. (I still sometimes am.) :-) My least favorite was Sutil’s “guilty” verdict.

Favourite moment was the annoucement of Raikkonen’s return.
Least favourite moment was probably hearing that Senna got a race seat above many drivers who deserve a seat more than him.

My favourite moment was seeing the new moving chicane built by HRT, just joking I like the team, it’s good to see that they semm to be ready for the season ahead of FP1 in Melbourne
My least favourite moment was the announcement of Vitaly Petrov replacing Jarno Trulli.

Favourite moment: Kimi return
Least favourite moment: Learning I will be on a plane during the first GP of the season as the company I work for wants me to travel somewhere, so I will be unable to watch the action live

My favourite was probably Raikkonen’s return, with Senna’s Williams drive in second.
Probably agree with Kubica’s fall being the worst.

– Car unveilling part. Seeing new liveries and looks.
– Pre-season tests. Seeing and Hearing an F1 car (be it on a small ‘net video)
– Realising the 1st race still some time away (but getting closer)
– Jaime Alguersuari not having a race seat, I think he deserves one.
– Peugeot leaving Endurance racing (not F1 I know)

The off-season is obviously going to end in a few hours so I’ve just updated the list for the last time. I added the news after March 7 and also created a new category ‘The first race’.
My favourite moments of the 2011/12 F1 winter were Lewis Hamilton’s photo session and taking part in F1 Fanatic live blogs on testing days.
The least favourite moment was when some teams left FOTA. I understand that it’s just a part of F1 politics but I also think this sent a bad signal to fans and generally put the sport in an unwelcome light.
